Hodgdon h380
When the late Bruce Hodgdon first employed H380TM, it was an unnamed spherical rifle propellant. When a charge of 38.0 grains behind a 52 grain bullet gave one hole group of its wildcat of 22 caliber (now called the 22-250), the powder H380 was properly termed. The 220 Swift, 243, 257 Roberts, and other fine-varmint cartridges are also great performers in the H380. A hollow ball is the grain form.
